I’m Hunter Meredith, your novice video creator. I’m a Video Production major and Emerging Media minor at Belmont University. With plans to graduate in May 2023, I am nervous about entering the man-eats-man world of the entertainment industry in one of its most popular destinations: Nashville, Tennessee. I have discovered a newfound love of podcasts and became inspired to start my own. When debating topics, I thought, “What better thing to do than combine both of my passions?”On ProducHER, we will shine a spotlight on the talented women behind the camera. We’ll dive deep into each creator’s process and hear about their challenges and successes to hopefully gain some advice and insight into the industry. We’ll also discuss the larger issues women often face, including landing jobs, gender bias, and sexism.
